Steeking!
We will spend some time reviewing several steek reinforcement techniques and then we’ll cut open a sample piece of knitting so you can get some practice and the overall idea of the technique.
Yarn Store Party!
The Needlepoint Joint, in Historic Downtown Ogden, will be open just for us! Personalized shopping with excellent customer service.
It’s a lovely way to begin our retreat.

Hilton Garden Inn
Our retreat accommodations include a lovely King or Queen bed room, hot breakfast, available optional room service, on-site restaurant, indoor pool and bar.
We have a special rate, of only $132 per night just for our event but you must reserve your room before September 4th, 2025
Relax
We’ll have plenty of time to relax and knit together. The hotel also has an on-site restaurant with room service, a pool, fitness center and spa.

Conveniently located just 45 mins from Salt Lake City’s airport, Ogden is home to some of the most gorgeous scenery in the Rocky Mountain West. No need to rent a car when you can take the train to Union Station in downtown Ogden, then ride the trolley right to our hotel. There is plenty to do here for your non-knitting companion!
